I’ve got a bunion on one foot. It usually doesn’t hurt, but buying shoes that fit is a real nightmare. My doctor suggested bunion surgery, but the people I’ve talked to about this have given me mixed responses about the surgery. I’ve had people who had the surgery tell me it was the best thing they could have done, I’ve had some people tell me the surgery turned out okay but the recovery was long and painful, and I’ve had a few people tell me they’re sorry they had it done.
